Water activities on Fitzroy Island

Fitzroy Island is spoilt for choice of outstanding water activities.

First head to the beach hire shed to see what activities are on offer.

Swimming and snorkelling are both great options on Fitzroy Island. Take in the Great Barrier Reef location’s crystal clear waters and the fringe reefs they wash over.

But visitors who want more can take a 3-hour return sea kayaking route from the resort to Little Fitzroy Island.

Kayaks and paddleboards are available for hire on the island which also offers PADI certified scuba diving.

Next, take a glass-bottom boat tour to explore the reef around the island.

Then guests staying on the resort can cool off in the pool.
